JOB SUMMARY:

Teveo is looking for a dedicated and skilled Onsite IT Support Specialist to join our team in Ansbach. In this role, you will be the crucial first point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues within our company’s office. Your responsibilities will include managing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems, ensuring that our employees have the support they need to stay productive. With your technical knowledge and communication skills, you will handle a range of tasks from software management to hardware troubleshooting, as well as user account administration. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: You have completed vocational training in IT or possess a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: You have experience in an IT Service Desk or customer support role, demonstrating your ability to manage and resolve IT issues effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, macOS, and Office applications, enabling you to support a diverse user base.
  • Networking Knowledge: You have a basic understanding of networking technologies and IT infrastructure, contributing to your ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Teamwork and Communication: You are a team player with strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You possess strong problem-solving abilities, maintaining focus and efficiency even under increased workloads.
  • Adaptability: You are eager to continue your education and quickly adapt to new technologies, staying current with industry developments.
  • Language Proficiency: You are fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Responsibilities:

  • IT Support: You will be responsible for receiving, documenting, and solving support requests through phone or ticketing systems.
  • Software Management: Assist in the installation, configuration, and updating of software applications, ensuring smooth functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Provide support for hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
  • User Account Administration: Manage user accounts and access rights, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
  • Device Deployment: Support the deployment and configuration of devices for new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools for their roles.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and workflows, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate support levels when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
