QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of directly relevant experience in the following functions: digital commerce, merchandising, brand marketing, strategy and digital products & experiences
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues. Experience with data visualisation tools, preferably Tableau and Metabase
  • Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrix organisation, with multiple stakeholders in different teams
  • Self-directed, with strong influencing skills and able to work in a highly flexible and informally structured environment

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Onsite Merchandiser is for one who loves fashion as much as e-commerce. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless onsite experience and show the most relevant assortment to our consumers across digital platforms

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute online merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and implement effective sorting algorithms to improve product sorting and filtering, ensuring product discovery and sales conversion
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to inform merchandising decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with the Merchandising and Marketing to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals.
  • Continuously improve the online shopping experience by optimizing site navigation, product recommendations, and customer reviews.
  • Analyse and monitor sales performance vs targets, onsite traffic, customer satisfaction and provide insights and recommendations to improve sales, onsite experience and optimise traffic engagement
  • Roll out global changes across all websites with operational excellence and consistency
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting and analysis of homepage, landing page and creative tests as well as the shopping funnel to optimise online marketing and site merchandising efforts ; knowledge on product recommendation tool is an advantage
