CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be well organised and have great administration skills with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills together with the following:
- An eye for detail and a desire to provide the best quality service to all staff and clients
- Advance Life/Cardiac Support (ALS 2 or ACLS) or equivalent - desirable
- Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) or Advanced Trauma Life support (ATLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life support (ATLS) is considered equivalent - desirable
- Training in the management of burns - desirable
- MIMMS or equivalent - desirable
- Current immunisation certification - desirable
- Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in remote emergency care and/or
- Minimum of 5 years within a Metropolitan Ambulance service with demonstrated clinical ability
- Hold a valid ‘C’ class drivers license
- Hold a police clearance valid within 3 months
- Excellent time management skills
- Be a known leader
- Highly experienced working remotely under a client contract
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an Onsite Paramedic to join our Onsite Operations at our clients site in WA on a maximum term basis, working a roster pattern of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, 12 hour days. You will be well supported by a national corporate team, and we pride ourselves on having a team that works well together and is passionate about the client’s needs.
DUTIES
You will be responsible for delivering high quality Onsite Medical Services in a regional location and must be able to work independently plus have high level of communication skills as you will be part of a greater team. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing proactive and reactive pre‐hospital and post patient care, health, safety and emergency;
- Prevent, control and treat injuries and illness;
- Coach, lead and advise staff personnel and emergency response team in order to prevent and if needed effectively treat injuries; and
- Provide creation and monitoring of return to work programs, pre and post illness and injury management.
