Op Technician - 5 day work week

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Ensure that all M&E systems and equipment in the hotel are operated and maintained efficiently.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs on hotel electrical equipment.
3. Perform preventative maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas is performed in accordance with the checklist and Hotel Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Receive maintenance work order from other departments via call/Hotel system app and follow-up to ensure work orders are rectified.
5. Assist Engineer/Supervisor on-site for the servicing works of all ACMV/HVAC system.
6. Ensure compliance with building and fire safety rules and regulations.
7. Perform Operation Technician work for hotel rooms.
8. Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer/Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

1. NITEC/Higher NITEC in any Engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in building servicing and maintenance, preferably in hotel, serviced apartment and commercial environment. (Fresh Graduates with no prior experience may apply)
3. Ability to interpret Single Line Diagram (SLD), As-Built Drawing & OMM.
4. Basic knowledge of Building Management System (BMS) / Building Automation System (BAS).
5. Ability to understand basic HVAC/ACMV system.
6. Basic knowledge on fire system (Smoke detector, Sprinkler system, Fire Alarm panel etc).
7. Service-oriented and positive attitude.
8. Adhere to hotel’s grooming standards when assigned to hotels.
9. Team player and able to work independently
