Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Intelligence Segment. The consultant will be engaged in a diverse set of project-specific tasks supporting our client who is conducting real world activities. Responsibilities include:

What You Will Do:

  • Interpret higher authority direction, command guidance and strategies to accomplish the Director’s military intelligence priorities as reflected in the operational goals and missions.
  • Provide oral and written advice suitable to influence general officer level audiences on multi-year projects, doctrine, and policies
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community to ensure completion of critical tasks.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, facilitate meetings, and ensure action items are executed on behalf of the organization.
  • Operate simultaneously at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, providing management to projects that do not fit easily within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility.
  • Proactively follow up with the organizational team when goals are not being achieved to determine why objectives are not being met. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the client when directed to at meetings, events, etc.

What You Will Need:

  • ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/ SCI federal security clearance
  • THREE or more (3+) years of intelligence experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience in performance management, strategic planning, change management, program management, governance support, stakeholder engagement, communications, data analysis, and / or policy support
  • Bachelor’s degree

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • First-hand experience working closely with national governance boards, national and defense committees, and working groups.
  • PMP certification
  • US military leadership experience in an operational planning capacity
