Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Consultant to provide technical support for an existing OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) integration with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, maintaining integration configurations, and troubleshooting technical issues to support key business processes. The consultant must have a strong understanding of OpenText ECM capabilities, Oracle EBS modules, and the technical intricacies of platform-level configuration, development and integration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing technical support for the existing OpenText xECM and Oracle EBS integration.
- Ensure the systems stability and availability by proactively monitoring performance and addressing issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related errors across OpenText Content Server and Oracle EBS.
- Maintain the integration platform between OpenText xECM and Oracle EBS, ensuring that data flows smoothly between the two systems.
- Manage and optimize integration configurations, including metadata mapping, API connections, and user authentication processes.
- Support technical upgrades, patches, and enhancements to keep both systems updated and aligned with business requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert for users interacting with the integrated system, providing technical guidance and resolving queries.
- Ensure that the system supports business processes effectively, particularly within Procurement, Finance, and Supplier Management modules.
- Provide training and documentation to users and stakeholders where necessary.
- Ensure the solution complies with audit and governance policies by maintaining document retention and security standards.
- Provide regular status reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions to business and IT stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), particularly in Procurement, Finance, and Supplier Management modules.
- Direct, hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM (xECM), including Content Server configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of OpenText Content Server features, such as Business Workspaces, Records Management, Facets, and Document Templates.
- Expertise in system integrations at a platform level, with experience in SOAP/REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and metadata synchronization.
- SQL and PL/SQL proficiency, with a good understanding of Oracle database schema and EBS architecture.
- Solid knowledge of user authentication and role-based access control mechanisms across integrated systems.
- Strong understanding of business processes that Oracle EBS supports, and how OpenText ECM enhances these processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- OpenText Content Server certification or equivalent certification.
- Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience in large-scale OpenText and Oracle EBS integrations.
- Knowledge of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) and WebLogic Server.
