Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer with 12 to 13 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in PurpleWRT OpenWRT SDK - WiFi/DOCSIS Firmware Deployment Embedded Systems - C/C++ Linux Device Driver Linux Network Driver Middleware Development and Firmware Development. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a strong background in PurpleWRT and OpenWRT integration.
- Demonstrate expertise in SDK
- WiFi/DOCSIS for enhanced product capabilities.
- Exhibit proficiency in firmware deployment and embedded systems development.
- Showcase advanced skills in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Have experience in developing and deploying Linux Device Drivers.
- Be skilled in Linux Network Driver development for optimized network performance.
- Have a solid understanding of middleware development and its applications.
- Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus.
- Display strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities:
12+ years of experience in working with development of OpenSync
Understand Wi-Fi technologies WiF6E WiFi7 and aware of Wi-Fi industry standards and associations like WBA and WFA.
Proficient in Linux and experience in configuring customizing and building Linux distributions (RDK-B or OpenWRT)
Strong programming skills in C and C++
Experience with broadband product including CPE RDKB devices DOCSIS Cable Modem standards etc.
Lead the design and development of advanced firmware solutions for embedded systems.
- Oversee the integration of PurpleWRT and OpenWRT into our existing platforms.
- Provide technical expertise in SDK
- WiFi/DOCSIS to enhance product performance.
- Develop and deploy firmware updates to ensure system reliability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Linux Device Drivers.
- Drive the development of Linux Network Drivers to optimize network performance.
- Contribute to middleware development to support various applications and services.
- Ensure the seamless deployment of firmware across multiple devices and platforms.
- Utilize C/C++ programming skills to develop robust embedded system solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality firmware releases.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in firmware development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
