Our client, a leading private healthcare provider in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their state-of-the-art Operating Theatre department.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
• Minimum 2 years’ operating theatre experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated organizational abilities
• Commitment to excellence in patient care

• Lead perioperative patient care across diverse surgical specialties
• Collaborate with robotic surgery teams utilizing latest technology
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in complex surgical procedures
• Manage instrument and equipment preparation for various specialties
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Facilitate efficient theatre turnover while maintaining highest standards
• Contribute to surgical planning and case management
• Support specialty areas including orthopaedics, cardiac, and minimally invasive procedures
