Our client, a leading private healthcare provider in New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their state-of-the-art Operating Theatre department.
This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotic technology and advanced digital systems in one of the country’s most sophisticated surgical facilities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
- Minimum 2 years’ operating theatre experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational abilities
- Commitment to excellence in patient care
Responsibilities:
- Lead perioperative patient care across diverse surgical specialties
- Collaborate with robotic surgery teams utilizing latest technology
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in complex surgical procedures
- Manage instrument and equipment preparation for various specialties
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
- Facilitate efficient theatre turnover while maintaining highest standards
- Contribute to surgical planning and case management
- Support specialty areas including orthopaedics, cardiac, and minimally invasive procedures
