Job Description
The Operation & Maintenance Shift Team Leader, will ensure the Waste-to-X facility meets safety, environmental, production, and contractual requirements, while overseeing all operations and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid experience working on an Energy from Waste plant (preferably at Shift Team Leader level)
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (or higher)
- Strong understanding of HSE standards, procedures, and requirements, with the ability to control plant operations safely and efficiently. Should also be knowledgeable in equipment interlocks, alarms, trips, and the response of plant control loops.
- Other skills: accountability, very good problem solving skill and good decision making also in emergency cases, ability to act as a team leader
- Language: English

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and maintain a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation.
- Supervise and manage shift operations, including overseeing operators and support personnel to ensure continuous process system performance.
- Ensure all shift employees are properly trained, follow operating procedures, and maintain safe and effective work practices.
- Maintain safety programs, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure employee understanding of safety policies and procedures.
- Manage shift logs, oversee plant maintenance, handle event-based reporting, and provide performance reviews for operators. Additionally, represent senior management during off-hours.
