MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- College diploma or University degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Distribution/Warehouse/Management Role
- Experience in Customer Service Role preferred
- Exceptional written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Accountable and dependable
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Highly proficient in using a computer, including advanced Microsoft Office software experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Forklift certified/experienced

Responsibilities:
The Operations Team Lead (OTL) is a hands-on professional who works in our warehouse supporting the Manager of Operations as a 2IC. The OTL is responsible for playing a key role in achieving and maintaining operational excellence with a focus on continuous improvement. It requires strong leadership skills and a proactive approach in driving efficiencies and delivering a high standard of customer-focused service. The OTL is committed to fostering a safe and positive workplace environment. Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Leadership: Assist Manager of Operations with the delegation of tasks/assignments to optimize workflow and achieve daily service goals. Be a key point of contact for staff on day-to-day inquiries and solutions. Provide training, coaching, and feedback, to maximize team performance
· Inventory Management:
o Daily cycle counts: Achieve accurate results. Must achieve target of four full counts completed within each calendar year.
o Reconciliation of inventory discrepancies: Identifying and addressing damaged/short dated/expired/overages/shortages effectively & efficiently. Thorough investigation to be completed, identifying root cause, which includes recovery or implementing solutions to avoid repeat. Complete stock adjustments and correct impacted customer orders in a timely manner
o Slow moving & dead stock: independently and/or in conjunction with the Supply Chain & Logistics Team identify, address and action
o Product recalls & quarantined inventory: Under the direction of the Regulatory Affairs Team provide lot/serial/expiry information and quarantine stock as needed. Manage the space and follow up on aged stock in quarantine with R.A.
o Management of space: maximization of space through optimum location assignment, shelf tags/barcodes, management of ZZ, RDR & credit shelf.
· Overall facility cleanliness & organization: maintain physical condition of the warehouse, suggesting new design layouts and ensuring overall appearance meets high standards. Complete and submit sanitation log
· OH&S Lead: Implement safety practices and processes ensuring all federal, provincial and local requirements are met. Provide training and education
· Equipment: maintain facility equipment, ensuring good working order and that all preventative maintenance schedules are met
· Reporting: establish and ensure the achievement of all goals and objectives are met through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including OE52 report management, and end of day reports.
· Other duties as assigned
