Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing Talent
  • Skills gaps identification in the team
  • Ensuring the entire team has a Learning & Development plan in place
  • Ensuring each channel has robust in-channel training and that all members of those channels have completed or have a plan to complete this training
  • Wider training - working with the leadership team and Account Directors to identify training needs beyond in-channel training and ensuring that there is a wider training plan in place and that the delivery of this is being held to account (in whatever form this may take place - internal/external training etc)
  • Processes
  • Processes gap identification across the teams/channels/bubbles, working collaboratively with the Account Directors and Heads of Channels.
  • Maintaining an awareness and record of knowledge and processes which exist across the teams/channels/bubbles and ensuring that these are updated, continually improved, relevant and useful
  • Holding Account Directors to account when it comes to understanding processes and enforcing these within their teams to ensure consistency in the agency’s approach
  • Responsible for ensuring that new processes are designed, created and implemented where none exist or where we are not doing things in the same way across teams - ensuring that nobody needs to “reinvent the wheel” for everyday processes
  • …But also understanding where processes aren’t needed and not unduly burdening the team with too many processes
  • Oversight and support
  • Holding champs (experts in a particular business area/channel/platform) to account on their area of the business and ensuring that they are keeping training and resources up to date for the rest of the business
  • Provide both oversight and support to other account directors, strategists, account manager and execs, including holding them to account when it comes to processes and training
  • There is currently no line management planned for this role but this may change in the future as the business needs evolve
  • Agency tools
  • Stay ahead of the competition in regards to strategies and technologies which might help achieve higher levels of efficiency, scalability and consistency when it comes to processes and training
  • Maintaining an awareness of tools we’re using as an agency, making sure that the team are trained in using these tools and that we’re getting good value out of these tools
  • Maintain a relationship with the Partnerships Manager at Genie Goals, keeping up to date on the partners we’re recommending and feeding back on those partners to them
  • Reporting and Communication
  • Supporting with creating reports for new and existing clients using Looker Studio (or other reporting platforms if appropriate) where needed
  • Supporting the team with troubleshooting their reports where needed
  • Support Account Directors in ensuring that reporting and communication from the teams is consistent, efficient, scalable and includes strong narrative that can be inspiring and exciting, and meets our clients expectations and requirements
  • Internal Communication
  • Report to the Head of Digital Marketing to provide a clear overview of roadmaps and progress
  • Coordinate strategic meetings and brainstorms on agency processes, training and procedures
  • Other
  • Ensuring that the Genie Goals Shared Drive is organised and consistent
  • Responsibility to understand the requirements of GDPR, and ensure your team’s processes are always compliant
  • Understand and comply with all business guidelines for security and data protection
  • Supporting the agency objectives and KPIs
