YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working in a leadership or management position or can demonstrate equivalent experience
- Experience of providing training to professionals and operational teams
- Experience and understanding of quality and safety issues related to mental health services and people with learning disabilities
- Experience of working collaboratively across professionals and services
- Experience of report writing
- Demonstrable skills in mentoring, teaching and coaching.
- Excellent organisational ability & methodical approach
- Excellent communication skills to be able to relay technical information to non-technical people
- Ability to learn and understand quickly
- Confidence and experience in using Windows and MS Office programmes including Excel
Responsibilities:
The Operational Assurance Manager will be responsible for cascading the implementation of the Trust Operational Assurance Framework .
The post holder will be responsible for supporting Operational managers and teams to assure and implement quality improvement projects and plans locally.
Updating procedures and tools to support the implementation of policy and best practice group wide.
They will provide coaching and expertise in relation to Operational assurance.
The role will involve collaborative working and delivery of the Trust Operational assurance Framework
The role will provide a regulatory advice & assurance function of the team, implementing 4 themed audits per year and annual assurance audits for the group
