The outpatient administration centre (OPC) at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is offering 3 new and exciting roles which are looking to shape the future of outpatient administration that UHS offers. We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate, and inclusive individuals to join our emerging Trust Outpatient service, leading on implementing new efficient processes and digital technology in a fast-paced administration centre, focusing on providing a quality service through a patient-first approach.
Working closely with operations managers and outpatient business manager, you will be empowered to deliver new processes and structures aligned with strategic goals, leading teams within the OPC. You will have the freedom to use creative and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver the best outpatient service for patients.

Key Responsibilities
To deputise for the operational managers and access manager as required.
Be responsible for the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
To ensure that patient pathways are managed in line with Trust and National reporting standards and that all documentation is maintained in line with information governance principles.
To support the operational management team with day-to-day operational issues.
Take a project lead role as required on service improvement projects in line with patient services centre objectives.
