The Operational Excellence Lead will be an advocate and role model for Operational Excellence, championing the application of OE tools by to achieve strategic objectives and long-term successes. The role reports to the MST&T and OE /Digital Data Director, joining their team, this role will work cross functionally supporting an even better factory of tomorrow.
The successful applicant will be a great communicator, and self-starter. They will have Green Belt and experience of operational excellence and project management.

As Operational Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the overall Enterprise Excellence strategy for the site, in partnership with the site management team. You will foster and grown the Operational Excellence culture on site and promote new ways of working to create an environment that is change agile, helping to drive the creation of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning at all levels within the site.

Your role will also include:

  • Establishing and delivering an Operational Excellence strategy and mindset for the site
  • Developing continuous improvement strategies to maximize availability, quality
  • Driving positive change through excellent role modelling, coaching, and facilitating skills
  • Supporting the site leadership team on site strategy and portfolio development and tracking

To be considered for this role, you will have a bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering or Business and be Green Belt qualified. proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with 5+ years’ experience. Hands on experience applying lean manufacturing, 6 -Sigma, and advanced planning and control methods. Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with different audiences.
