The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, science, operations or business, with evidence of operational, leadership, or professional experience. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certified Black Belt preferred.
- A Lean Guide with significant experience (7+ years) and a ‘hands-on’ track record of implementing successful TPS- based business systems
- Experience in GMP Manufacturing (>5 years)
- Operational Management experience is helpful
- Established history of delivering year-over-year results through data-driven problem solving techniques.
- Passion for developing, training, and mentor teams and working with multicultural and cross-disciplinary project teams
- Excellent organization, planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation in English, German knowledge preferable

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and guiding PPI methodology, lean tools and concepts include PPI 8 step, value stream mapping, Strategy Deployment tool, 5S, Visual management etc.
- Lead Kaizen events on standard work, Biological process and product 3P, Value-Analysis/Value Engineering, error-proofing, material flow, Heijunka, and Kanban among others.
- Guide the other teams with expertise in problem-solving applying a formal program/process.
- Be a Project Manager and Coach of several Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma Projects.
