OPERATIONAL MI AND REPORTING ANALYST

£38,000 - £42,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester – hybrid working, 1 day a month in the office
We’re looking for an operational MI and reporting analyst to join our Co-op Funeralcare team.
In this role, you’ll produce, analyse, and distribute a variety of reports on operational KPIs, spend, compliance and assurance across our Funeralcare business. We’ll look to you to engage key colleagues on these reports, making sure they understand the data to enable effective decision making and drive strategic change. You’ll also build and embed performance solutions to continuously improve our services, and lead on a key project to bring together our MI into a single location for leaders to access. It’s a fantastic chance to develop your skills and make a big impact whilst gaining great exposure across the business.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • deliver performance data to senior field leaders, supporting them to understand what the data is telling them to drive business improvements
  • use Power BI and Microsoft suite to build apps which leaders can use to access performance data, and engaging with users to make sure these are fit for purpose
  • provide expert advice and guidance up to senior leader level to support effective decision making
  • work cross-functionally with the wider business to contribute to the development of strategy and projects

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

  • technical skillset in Power BI
  • previous experience of simplifying and linking multiple reports
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into simple terms
  • the ability to build positive relationships up to senior level
  • excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise multiple pieces of work
