Responsibilities:
WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?
Due to an internal promotion, we are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Operational Quality Engineer within our Nacelles OE division. This role will report directly to the Quality Manager.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of Operational Quality, with a focus on supporting fault identification, implementing corrective actions, and driving Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Manufacturing, demonstrating prior experience in resolving Product Quality issues and ensuring product compliance.

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES LOOK LIKE?
- Offer expert guidance to fitting and test personnel to pinpoint the root causes of failures, enhancing the efficiency of the diagnostic process.
- Spearhead Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives aimed at elevating the resolution of Product Quality-related issues, fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement.
- Compile detailed written reports to substantiate investigation findings, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication.
- Provide compelling supportive evidence to facilitate the implementation of technical warranty adjudication processes.
- Collaborate closely with the supplier quality team to ensure a comprehensive investigation of externally sourced items, fostering strong partnerships.
- Actively contribute to the achievement of business objectives by providing unwavering support to the Quality team and clinic.
- Play a proactive role in promoting structured problem-solving methodologies, such as Root Cause Analysis, to address issues systematically and prevent recurrence.
- Effectively coordinate efforts to sustain continuous adherence to customer flowdown requirements, ensuring seamless compliance.
