Description:
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who excels at guiding stakeholders through best practice business continuity operations and thrives in dynamic, fast-changing environments. You should be driven by working independently on your project/s but understand the direction of the team’s shared goals and how to achieve this. You are resilient, pragmatic, and diplomatic in your approach. In this role, you will need a solid understanding of business continuity standards, great organisational and time management skills, and strong communication abilities. Naturally a people-person, you enjoy building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels and enjoy facilitating workshops and information sessions to drive awareness and attract change.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Operational Resilience Team, you will oversee and enhance our enterprise-wide business continuity operations, ensuring they align with policies, procedures, and industry standards. This role is vital for maintaining critical operations and enabling swift recovery from disruptions, minimising impacts on our business and stakeholders. By adhering to regulatory standards like CPS232 and working towards CPS230 readiness, you will strengthen our resilience framework and support the achievement of key objectives in our Business Continuity and Resilience activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of project outcomes in accordance with agreed schedules
- Supporting stakeholders to identify business interruptions, threats, impacts and controls
- Supporting the business to complete assessments and document response techniques
- Ensuring compliance with Prudential Standards, policies and procedures to effectively operate within risk appetite
- Proactively identifying risks and recommending actions that will avoid, mitigate or accept risks
- Coaching and mentoring leaders as they develop structured responses to operational incidents
- Facilitating training and awareness sessions including post-incident reviews and scenario workshops
