Description:

Join our Cyber, Technology, Information Security and Supplier Risk Team based in Sydney, and play a key role in forming an independent view of Macquarie’s specialist operational risk profiles, effecting change in non-financial risk management culture across the organisation.

What role will you play?
As an Analyst in the Operational Risk Team, you will play a key role supporting oversight activities over Macquarie’s Line 1 business function to support and improve specialist operational risk management by applying principles to specialist disciplines covering technology, supplier and information security risks.
You will analyse data to obtain and deliver insights from monitoring and reporting of risks to senior management, identifying opportunities for improvement, driving the delivery and execution of uplift for operational risk management.

What you offer

  • Experience in a risk management/audit role, gained in a financial services organisation or professional services, with a solid grasp of operational risk management principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyse data, and present and deliver insightsExperience in any of the following disciplines; technology risk, cyber risk, data and information security risk, third party risk or business resilience risk is desirable but not essential

    In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
