Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Operational Risk and Compliance Specialist
Our teams core responsibility is to ensure our customers are supported throughout their pre and post flight journey. We have a multi-channel support offering which consist of voice, email, chat, social and messaging.
Our team are supported by 2 fully Outsourced Contact Centre suppliers consisting of approx. 2000 advisors across Europe, India, South Africa and the UK operating 7 days a week.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and proactive professional looking to shape risk and compliance within a forward-thinking organization.
The Operational Risk and Compliance Specialist will ensure our operation in Customer Services adheres to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
In short this will see you:
Promoting the ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) approach throughout the whole of customer services and disruption.
Focusing on managing strategic, operational, and compliance risks while ensuring the business adheres to legal and internal policies.
Owning compliance failures and working with the accountable managers to develop and implement effective remediation activities whilst tracking performance, working towards continuous improvement and identifying potential risks.
You will also be responsible for exploring and recommending AI potential for risk control and risk identification.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies that manage operational and project risks.
Promote the use of data analysis to extrapolate insight, calculate likely scenarios, predict future events, and for demonstrating that risk and compliance KPI targets are met.
Deputise and represent the team at internal focus groups.
Create and deliver guidance and training to the business lines so that the business owners can manage its risks and meet its regulatory obligations.
Requirements of the Role
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS ROLE:
Ideally you will have risk management experience and an Industry Certification (IRM or equivalent) however this is not essential.
You will however have an understanding of risk assessment best practices, concepts, practices, and tools.
You will have a keen eye for detail and an analytical style who is able to demonstrate independent and cohesive problem solving skills.
Your experience will have provided you with a business mindset and you have excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
You will also have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
This role will require travel to our Contact Centres which are based across Europe, India, South Africa
