Description:
Overview:
Provide excellent service to our internal and external customers by providing Warehouse Management System (WMS) related training and support functions. Work with facility and management to train and assess for competence site personnel for WMS and post-conversion sites when necessary. Identify, develop and establish a network of Super Users by region, country and site. Provide the oversite of customer onboarding projects to ensure seamless integration.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 plus years in an Operational Focused position. High School diploma or greater.
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics WMS and Koerber WMS, or tier one WMS highly regarded
- 5 plus years in Warehouse Logistics and Warehouse Operations understanding in temperature control preferred
- Change Management, interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a network of WMS Superusers to drive successful onboarding, deployments, upgrades and enhanced system features with a goal of increased efficiency, customer experience and Operational Excellence.
- Ensure detailed training plans and documentation for facility personnel are established for WMS and related systems implementations. This includes but is not limited to Office staff, Customer Service, Supervisors, Wave Planners, Inventory Control, Site Management, Finance, and Operators.
- Conduct competency assessments of Site, Country and Regional users and specifically Superusers.
- Ensure WMS Training and Competency Matrix is in place, reviewed and updated
- Identify WMS optimisation opportunities, innovation and Operational Excellence, working with the Operational Excellence Team, IT and other business streams through collaboration, working groups with sustainable outcomes.
- Ensure metrics are in place to determine the effectiveness of training and competency
- Provides on-site support for go-lives and escalates issues to facility and management as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support requests related to WMS or any related interfaces or ancillary systems.
- Ensure sites perform UAT testing, sign off and agree prior to any deployment.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and other meetings as necessary.
- Other duties as requested.
