Location: Changi Airfreight Center (Company will apply for pass)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $1,700/month
Start Date: 1st November 2024

Job Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and organized Air Freight Operations Admin Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of administrative tasks within the air freight transportation department. This role involves maintaining accurate records of collections and deliveries, coordinating transporation details with agents, and providing clerical support to the operations team to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure timely checking of deliveries and colleciton statuses.
  • Liaise with drivers and agents on trasportation instrucitons.
  • Monitor shipment statuses and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted on time.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to track shipments and resolve issues that may arise during transit.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining updated records in the company’s freight management system.
  • Support the operations team by scheduling and coordinating delivery and pick-up of freight with service providers.
  • Perform other general administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of N’Level or equivalent
  • Prior experience in air freight or logistics operations is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners via phone calls and Whatsapp messaging
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of freight documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule:

  • 5.5 days work week.
  • Office hours.
