Description:

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a System Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity) to support key programs at NSWC Crane and throughout the United States.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s level degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Mathematics
  • 10 years professional experience in operations research
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Interim Secret clearance required to start)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Master’s in operations research, mathematics or equivalent
  • Any of the following certifications would be a plus to have:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
  • Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)
  • EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)
  • GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE)
  • Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Responsibilities:

  • Support assessment team by performing penetration testing and utilizing true understanding of cybersecurity.
  • Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to drive operations strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, data analysis, scheduling, and execution of program protection and cybersecurity response.
  • Ensure that cyber security assessment teams are properly equipped with analysis tools necessary to define, implement and assess cyber-resilient security design solution
  • Support cyber risk analyses and program protection security assessment teams
  • Capture information on customer systems and operations, focusing on commercial hardware that is in use and utilize captured information to assess the risk posture for the customer
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences, technical and non-technical, and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative environment.
