What You’ll be Doing
As part of the Credit Processing Services, the Operations Analyst is responsible for the delivery of efficient operational support, as well as accurately processing service inquiries and requests while upholding compliance with internal controls and procedures. The Operations Analyst demonstrates strong technical and system knowledge to review and analyze data to ensure quality assurance of transactions and maintain customer satisfaction. In addition, the role assists in the management of day-to-day operations and overall efficiency of UK loan operations, while seeking opportunities to streamline existing processes and procedures.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Collaborative & Strong Communicator - Liaise with clients and FI’s and other business units within the bank on all activities related to the ongoing operational administration of UK Loan Ops, to ensure accurate and timely execution of all transactions. Assist in daily activities related to the UK Loan Operations portfolio such as processing loan payments and advances, collecting interest/fee payments, creating client invoices, and remitting wire payments
  • System Savvy - Able to navigate many varied systems and is technically savvy. Examples of systems used in this role: IWS, WSS, ACBS.
  • Knowledge of products - an asset if you are familiar with corporate lending products such as Risk Free Rate (RFR), Letter of Credit, EURIBOR, etc.
  • Multi-Tasker - experienced with multi-tasking and working in fast-paced, often-changing environment. Experience working in a team where processes and procedures are changing and updating.
  • Detail Oriented - Complete all necessary activities related to the processing of all complex invoicing and settlements.
