We have an opening for an Operations Analyst
Location: 15 Shoreham Ln Suite 101, Halifax, NS B3P 2R3
Position: Permanent Full Time- Monday- Friday

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Excellent and proven computer skills combine with strong knowledge of software packages including SAGE, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must be able to perform a variety of tasks within time limited deadlines.
  • Strong reading, verbal and written communication skills, organizational, problem-solving, conflict resolution skills required
  • High attention to detail and possesses
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in Long Term Care and/or Unionized environments are an asset, but not essential

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Facility budget review and cost audit & analysis
  • Manage and reconcile Resident Billing & Resident Trust Account
  • Quarterly & Year End Reconciliations internally and for the Dept. of Seniors & Long-Term Care
  • Auditing Pension Reconciliation
  • Auditing Quarterly & Year End Accruals Adjustments
  • Others as requested
