We have an opening for an Operations Analyst
Location: 15 Shoreham Ln Suite 101, Halifax, NS B3P 2R3
Position: Permanent Full Time- Monday- Friday
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
- Excellent and proven computer skills combine with strong knowledge of software packages including SAGE, Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to perform a variety of tasks within time limited deadlines.
- Strong reading, verbal and written communication skills, organizational, problem-solving, conflict resolution skills required
- High attention to detail and possesses
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in Long Term Care and/or Unionized environments are an asset, but not essential

Responsibilities:
- Facility budget review and cost audit & analysis
- Manage and reconcile Resident Billing & Resident Trust Account
- Quarterly & Year End Reconciliations internally and for the Dept. of Seniors & Long-Term Care
- Auditing Pension Reconciliation
- Auditing Quarterly & Year End Accruals Adjustments
- Others as requested
