Responsibilities:
The Financial Market Operations (FMO) team at G-Research is responsible for driving middle and back-office functions across the business, with a strong mandate to innovate.
We are undergoing a multi-year transformation of processes and platforms to create a world-class operational function, focusing on automation and minimising manual interventions to support scalability and vendor flexibility by design.
As an Operations Analyst, you will contribute to small and large-scale projects across different functions within FMO and handle day-to-day operational tasks You will gain broad exposure to the full spectrum of research, trading and operational processes, with a strong emphasis on automation and process improvement.
This is a rare opportunity to join an operational team that is embarking on an ambitious roadmap to improve and re-architect all aspects of our processes and vendor management.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Operational Responsibilities:
- Cash, position, and dividend reconciliation and investigation
- Corporate action analysis and booking
- Managing the entire trade lifecycle, including handling post and prior value queries and liaising with portfolio managers
- Daily flash PnL and NAV reporting
- Onboarding new markets, brokers and vendors
- Managing relationships with prime brokers and external counterparties, resolving queries and ensuring smooth BAU operations
Automation and Process Improvement:
- Contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives
- Contributing to the design and delivery of scalable operational processes
Project Delivery:
- Playing a key role in the successful execution of large-scale projects, contributing to their design and delivery
- Getting into the detail and actively delivering project pieces
