Description:

The Investment Controls & Governance team has two core mandates; Primarily team is developing targeted solutions to optimize operational workflows, especially in the reconciliation space by demonstrating our Global Reconciliation Platform DUCO and by implementing/supporting Power Platform solutions. The C&G team is also acting as the first line of defense for Risk, by ensuring appropriate business controls are in place and performed timely.
The Operations Analyst role is an entry-level position accountable for participating in the implementation and support of Power Platform solutions . They will be responsible for creating Power BI, Power Automate and Power App workflows while working with the business users to understand rationale and expectations. The role involves developing abilities of investment operation workflows, financial markets, and financial instruments. The opportunity is for a proactive, motivated, and self-taught person who wants to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. The candidate must be innovative, collaborative, and highly detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and support Power Platform solutions.
  • Maintain and establish governance around solutions.
  • Maintain industry specific technology knowledge and assess opportunities with Investment Ops
  • Review and refine existing controls/procedures to continuously improve the quality and ensure clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.
  • Support and work in combination with the Global Reconciliation team and other Ops groups.
  • Control, review, and minimize manual processes and inefficiencies, reduce operational risk.
  • Maintain partnerships with collaborators via periodic working groups to address outlier issues and encourage process improvement.
  • Participate and/or lead initiatives as assigned.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect within the team and organization.
