Operations and Maintenance Engineer

• Supervise on-site routine maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of PV equipment
• Supervise technicians during replacement, installation and proper use of test equipment
• Supervise and ensure completion of activities included in the Quarterly Team and Individual Key Performance Matrix
• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance
• Respond to plant breakdowns
• Creating and updating maintenance procedures
• Leads O&M Technician team (including temporary labor)
• Identify unsafe work or operating conditions and take proper action to neutralize hazard in compliance with health and safety legislation
• Manage budgets and maintain statistical and financial records
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipment
• Responsible for being available for scheduled rotational (on call) duties and as needed
• Responsible for following all cooperative safety policies and procedures
• Ensuring the vehicle, tooling, electronics, software and company property issued are accounted for
• Utilize source applications to perform daily informational activities
• Perform other work-related activities as requested by supervisor
• Preparation of Daily and Weekly Reports
• Preparation of Preventive Maintenance Report, Thermal Scanning Report, PV String test Report
• Conduct the Monthly Meter Reading of Rooftop Sites.
• Preparation of Daily Actual Energy delivered of Rooftop Sites.
• Prepare the Daily Forecast report for FIT Site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
• 1-2 years of experience in PV Plant Operation and Maintenance (C&I or Farm)
• Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and diagrams
• Familiar with electrical materials and accessories
• Proficient in computer applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office (CAD knowledge is a plus)
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills and well-presented in client-facing situations
• Willing to be assigned to various sites across the country
• Willing to work on Saturdays and holidays, if necessary
• Full time position
