Within The Strategy Group function we are a team full of subject matter experts, but that’s not all. We are responsible for providing best in class support on everything from developing acquisition strategy and raising funds, through to making the deal and integrating the acquisition.
Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Assist Operations stakeholders on the buy-side or sell-side to plan and execute changes in the organisation as required by the transaction. This will be across the deal cycle from pre-deal to post-deal phases of the transaction
- Liaise effectively with clients while working on engagements and act as an ‘ambassador’ for KMPG
- Design and run small projects and / or large, complex workstreams with limited oversight
- Can confidently lead a client workshop or meeting, where appropriate, with some senior oversight and guidance
- Produce client-ready deliverables that exceed expectations and require limited review
- Construct detailed financial / business models performing complex scenario and sensitivity analysis
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO DO IT?
- Industry (within Supply Chain, Procurement or Manufacturing) or experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm or other consultancy
- Strong foundational understanding of the value drivers within Supply Chain, Procurement or Manufacturing
- Experience of leading project workstreams and take responsibility for small teams
- Prior involvement in business development activity and ability to contribute to thought leadership and knowledge management initiatives
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and broader (internal and external) stakeholders at various levels
