Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a varied and exciting role with plenty of opportunity to make it your own and work with autonomy. As our Operations Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will cover administrative activities, customer support, communicating with the warehouse and accountant, office management, and other key tasks such as filing invoices and supporting HR functions. In addition to these core responsibilities, you’ll also have the chance to get involved in other aspects of the business on a project or ad hoc basis. We’re looking for someone that is organised, proactive, and ready to be part of a friendly and flexible team based in our King’s Cross office.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders such as accountants, the warehouse, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and smooth operations.
  • Office Management: Oversee office-related tasks, such as managing supplies, coordinating with cleaners, and ensuring the office remains organised and functional.Order office equipment, snacks, and other supplies as needed.Handle basic facility management tasks, including liaising with service providers for maintenance or repairs.
  • Administrative Support: File invoices, reconcile payments, and manage incoming communication to maintain an organised workflow.Support the HR function by maintaining employee records and coordinating onboarding processes.

Additional Duties include (Occasional/Project-Based)

  • Research and Reporting: Conduct research to support company projects and present findings to assist in decision-making.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and manage company events, including social gatherings, trade shows, and other corporate events.
  • Ad Hoc Assistance: Provide flexible support to team members by handling miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed.
