Description:

WHY TALLARIUM

Tallarium is a London-based data scale-up that is transforming institutional energy commodity trading.
As an existing status quo, large-scale B2B financial contract (derivative) trading still massively relies on legacy systems like messenger chat, telephone, and Excel spreadsheets. We’re breaking new ground by providing cutting-edge unique data & analytics terminals for traders that will revolutionize how the largest energy companies operate their day to day. We already power trading desks at Fortune 500 companies and work closely with industry leaders, where there are still many new and exciting problems to solve.
Backed by two institutional VC investors and several major strategic players, we are poised for growth and are seeking exceptional talent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our ideal candidate will excel in business operations as well as developing new systems and processes. We are looking for someone with experience in running operational processes, a track-record of tackling varied problems and a panache for wearing multiple-hats. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to develop their skills in operations management and wants to be at the heart of the action.
You will report directly to, and mostly work alongside, our CEO, Stanislav, as well as collaborating with our product and sales teams at times. As part of this your work will be split between running the day-to-day business operations and on various ad hoc projects supporting the CEO. Examples of these projects may be analyzing per unit costs, reviewing legal contracts, negotiating external provider rates and planning team offsites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational Swiss knife to the founder and team – whether it’s setting up our financial reports, organising company events, building out board decks, or collating and structuring client feedback – no task is above or below you. You enjoy being in the middle of the action and stepping in as needed.
  • Set up and own day-to-day operational processes and systems (including admin, legal, accounting, finance, CRM, etc.)
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with departments leads to drive alignment or jump into a specific department for a longer time when needed; occasional support to the business with HR aspects as well as support and facilitation of the company OKR setting.
  • Opportunity to grow into a more specialist operations/finance/product/Chief of Staff role where you set up structures and develop those in the company, etc. (there are no barriers to where you can develop)
  • The exact projects you will work on may vary based on business needs as those would evolve during different phases of Tallarium’s growth, as well as depend on your interests and the skill set you bring.
    Depending on experience.
If you are passionate about building companies (interested in starting your own), enjoy solving unstructured challenges, and want to be part of an outstanding team that supports your growth, this job will be a great fit for you
