Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE.

Grind are on the lookout for a talented, driven and transformational Operations Consultant to help us achieve our goal of being the world’s most sustainable, coffee-for-good challenger brand. The Consultant will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of our operational systems.
This role will be hands-on; we need a candidate who can balance strategic planning and detailed execution.
The outputs will be focused on these main areas of the business:

Scope and build out cross functional operations

  • Assess the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our operations teams and functions, conduct role and KPI analysis, and provide support with necessary improvements
  • Help design and implement operational processes to improve our use of cloud based software, health & safety procedures and customer account management
  • Advise on scaling our operation in the UK and internationally

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Consult on all operational aspects of the business, including sourcing, production, supply chain, product development, special events, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality in turn supporting the company’s growth and expansion.
  • Support the development of operations professionals.
  • Support with the development of growth performance objectives.
  • Analyse existing performance metrics and make improvements.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision and goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of new processes that support business objectives.
