WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a highly experience and customer centric individual who has demonstrable experience operating in a customer facing role within transport, logistics or freight forwarding. You’ll need to be a confident and approachable individual who can effectively communicate with people across all levels internally and externally, and have a solid understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

This role oversees daily operations within the control tower to ensure on time delivery and timely follow ups with suppliers and other stakeholders. This includes shipment booking, event (milestone) management, as well as timely escalation of issues.
Ensuring operational services are executed in an effective and efficient manner across several transport service providers and different modes of transport, while maintaining a high level of quality and meeting performance and cost targets.
This is a Monday – Friday position offering hybrid working.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues reported by the customer.
  • Prioritise Quality notifications and adjust schedules to meet customer requirements promptly.
  • First point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor transport execution to ensure adherence of all supply chain stakeholders to established work standards and work instructions.
  • Ensure tracking event updates (milestones) are provided on time and correctly by suppliers and carriers[RS1] [JS2] .
  • Follow up on missing events and investigate data inconsistencies.
  • Provide input to Supervisors in the preparation of reporting, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews.
