Description:

DXP | Industrial Paramedic Services (IPS) is looking for an Operations Coordinator with a keen analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate reliability, and maintain composure while adapting to fast-paced situations and shifting priorities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS ARE:

  • Experience in industrial medicine, dispatch, or logistics is an asset.
  • Proficiency with basic MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing tasks effectively.
  • Skilled at problem-solving, quickly identifying root causes, and making informed decisions within established guidelines and policies.
  • Capable of taking independent action when needed while remaining aligned with team goals.
  • Skilled in handling difficult individuals and navigating varied personalities with professionalism.
  • Able to manage multiple challenges simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proven ability to earn trust, influence colleagues, and consistently contribute as a reliable team member.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with field medics to coordinate rotation schedules and change-outs.
  • Collaborate with client representatives to ensure on-site satisfaction.
  • Monitor and address any medic-related issues, complaints, or challenges, and escalate them to the Manager of Operations or Human Resources Manager as needed.
  • Coordinate and book medic flights as required.
  • Be available for on-call duties during evenings and weekends for job changes or client requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and operations teams to ensure accuracy in job details, client satisfaction, and adherence to pricing or bid proposals.
  • Work closely with dispatch colleagues to support day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with both customers and employees.
