The Opportunity - Operations Coordinator, Dual Credit (AUPE Business Analyst), permanent, full-time
The Olds College of Agriculture & Technology, Dual Credit Operations Coordinator (AUPE: Business Analyst) is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of Olds College dual credit programming, working closely with students, instructors, school division contacts and the current Olds College dual credit team. The Dual Credit Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and supporting success in all aspects of dual credit program delivery. This includes program scheduling and readiness for delivery, support to instructors, students and school division key persons. This position ensures that the dual credit program operations are efficient, effective, and responsive to deliver quality learning experiences for dual credit students while supporting their success and maintaining a strong provincial reputation for delivering exceptional dual credit programming. This position will report directly to the Director of the Community Learning Campus - Learning.

Key Job Functions:

  • Lead role in the annual delivery of dual credit programming at Olds College with respect to planning, scheduling, organization for delivery, instructor and school division liasoning, student enrollment, readiness for success of all stakeholders.
  • Oversee high levels of student learning success through careful management, guidance and support of all stakeholders.
  • Maintain the month to month responsibilities of dual credit programming across the year, including promotion, program readiness, enrollment, learner success, external partner relationships, program delivery, student monitoring and support.
  • Assist program and service areas of dual credit to maintain strong coordination of various department roles within the delivery of dual credit programming.
  • Facilitate the integration and alignment of the organizational strategic plan into all aspects of the Dual Credit Program Coordinator role as led by the Director of the CLC for Learning.
  • Support the operating budget for dual credit programming, including monitoring and invoicing, and reports status to the Director of the CLC on a monthly basis.
  • Assemble and analyze information and data to provide data for current and year end dual credit programming to inform Olds College.
  • Represent Olds College dual credit programming with various stakeholders, with a priority on supporting a service of high quality and focus on student success.
  • Work with all stakeholders for success in achievement of their responsibilities connected to dual credit program delivery.
  • Prepare written documentation including programming plans and menus, scheduling updates, and revisions, proposals, etc.
  • Liaise with appropriate College service providers to support dual credit program delivery success.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (i.e. Bachelor of Education).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in student learning success, organization of high quality learning experiences, or other related experience. We may consider candidates with a combination of relevant education and practical experience for this opportunity.
  • Presents a positive, professional image and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions.
  • On site at Olds College campus daily to oversee student learning and interact with the dual credit team.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours, as some weekend and evening work may be required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programming with high levels of trust and effective relationships.

  • Strong organization and time management skills as well as an eye for detail.
  • Evidence of the ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently.
