Responsibilities:

As Operations Coordinator in the Lumber division, you will oversee planning and scheduling production activities across the Sawmill and Kilns to meet customer supply needs. As a report to the Operations Manager you will act as their 2IC and you will take full responsibility for the operations in their absence.

In your role you will get the opportunity to work closely with a variety of teams within the Lumber division and contractors. Key responsibilities in your role include:

  • Manage the Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator & Sawmill Scheduler, overseeing their work and providing support where required.
  • Overseeing the performance of cleaning contractors
  • Serving as a key communication liaison between lumber operations, engineering, and business improvement teams
  • Facilitating continuous, small-scale improvements in the sawmill
  • Occasionally, issuing permits in accordance with Pan Pac’s Safe Systems of Work

This role is full time, Monday to Friday based at our Whirinaki site.
