Responsibilities:
As Utilities Operations Coordinator you will work within the Pulp division of Pan Pac but have an impact on the whole site by ensuring the steam supply is maintained across site. You will report to the Fibre Supply & Utilities Manager and lead a team of 13. You will also interact with the wider pulp division teams to ensure successful collaboration of work. Management of your team will be key focus in your role, including training and development. This will be paired with managing the daily operation and performance of the steam boilers, steam turbine power plant, wastewater treatment plant and process water treatment and supply. You will also actively pursue efficiency improvements through standardisation of operating procedures, achieve compliance with environmental consents, champion a no harm safety culture, manage budgets and ensure all quality parameters associated with processes are met.
