Operations Development Engineer, Singapore
As an Operations Development Engineer, you will be responsible in leading projects enhancing workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role requires carrying out task from entry-level to professional routine assignments while gaining exposure to Manufacturing Supply Chain Operations, possessing fundamental knowledge and exposure to processes guided by supervisors. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, Singapore, you will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to drive projects, gaining insights and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
This is a developmental program aimed at fostering professional growth, the candidates will have an opportunity to have a deeper understanding of Symrise’s processes and a strong work exposure within Supply Chain.

The Position:

  • Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and offer recommendations as needed
  • Identify and enhance workflow efficiencies to boost agility and speed
  • Support automation processes and digitalization in Supply Chain and Operations
  • To gain exposure to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics related projects, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added initiatives
  • Benchmark external best practices and engage in knowledge sharing
  • Understand raw material movement, planning, and ordering processes
  • Gain insight into Manufacturing Supply Chain functions, including production, planning, warehousing, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and food safety standards
  • Strict adherence to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and procedures
