POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a hands-on Operations Director reporting to the President, who will work closely with the leadership team to develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior operations role, preferably in the software industry.
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
- Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software, specifically Salesforce and HubSpot.

Candidates must be very strong interpersonally – the Operations Director will be a functional team builder who will foster open communication between all relevant stakeholders.
NedGraphics and Optitex have offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. The role is hybrid with occasional in-person internal meetings.
Responsibilities:
Key overall responsibility is to maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration and to set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity in a global decentralized environment. Specifically, the Operations Director is expected to:
- Lead global IT, Business Intelligence and Sales Operations functions.
- As a first priority, lead a complete revamp of our order to cash process and systems.
- Devise strategies for optimal operation of the business across a large range of function and location combinations, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
- Draw on relationships with internal department heads, centralized group functions, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Work with our centralized Finance group function and internal departmental heads to develop, monitor and optimize departmental and company budgets.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Document, deploy and oversee adherence to company’s policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
