FLSA Status: Exempt Job Status: Full-time Amount of Travel Required: 30% Reports to: Operations Engineering | BI Manager Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM   Position Summary Deep Well Services is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our growing Engineering & Analytics Team. This role serves as a key customer-facing resource supporting Field Operations, Business Development, and Maintenance.   Why Deep Well Services? * Medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays * Annual discretionary bonus * Wellness programs, including telehealth and employee assistance programs * Discounted gym membership rates * Flexible work initiatives Duties & Responsibilities * Assist with the completion of post-well reports and operational reviews * Support preparation of equipment diagrams and well modeling * Identify, design, and implement process improvements, including automation and data optimization * Collaborate across departments including Field Operations, Maintenance, and Business Development * Prepare and present customer KPI reviews * Provide remote and on-site operational support as needed * Travel to field locations to review performance with Field Operations teams * Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies * Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and safe work environment * Participate in on-call rotation and provide support as required by operations * Monitor and analyze fleet-wide operational performance to identify improvement opportunities * Evaluate effectiveness of operational changes and recommend enhancements * Support root cause analysis of operational issues and recommend corrective actions * Prepare reports and presentations for management, highlighting insights and recommendations Position Details * Accountability & Dependability: Takes ownership of work quality and timeliness with minimal supervision * Adaptability & Flexibility: Adjusts effectively to changing priorities and operational demands * Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ethical: Maintains integrity and adherence to company values and standards * Problem Solving: Proactively identifies issues and develops effective solutions * Initiative: Takes action to resolve problems and achieve goals independently * Communication: Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Teamwork: Collaborates effectively to support team and organizational objectives Skills & Qualifications * Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field * Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in oil & gas operations or related roles Preferred Experience: * Data surveillance in drilling or completions operations * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI * Experience interacting with customers and providing real-time operational solutions * Strong presentation skills, including development and delivery * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong communication skills, including training end users on tools and systems   Disclaimer This job description is intended to outline the primary duties and responsibilities of the role.
