  • Estimated annual base pay: $63,400(minimum) - $79,200(midpoint) - $95,000(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re an Operations Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Engineer (level 1) reports to Technical Leadership and provides manufacturing expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our manufacturing organization and/or supply base. Supports production from a technical standpoint.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Works to support technical solutions, learning from experts in the area while recognizing problems that are beyond capabilities.
  • Supports cell layouts and process improvement initiatives.
  • General understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) concepts and understanding of Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes.
  • Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation and updates work order documentation.
  • Supports implementation of basic engineering changes.
  • Supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) in Technical/Science or its international equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
  • No professional experience required.
  • General Six Sigma knowledge; Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts,
  • General troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; General understanding of Root Cause Analysis.
  • General understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) concepts and supports new product introduction.
  • General understanding and ability to read electrical and/or mechanical machine drawings.
  • General understanding of applicable manufacturing processes; Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine/process capability; General understanding and ability to read product drawings.
