Classy Turtle Vacation Homes Rental is a rapidly growing boutique holiday homes rental operator in Dubai, leveraging on its key assets: people, experience and operational excellence. Classy Turtle Vacation Homes Rental is currently looking for an Operations Executive. Promising candidate is a self-starter that is looking to open an exciting new chapter in his or her career, combining interest in general management, hospitality and real estate with functional expertise in Operations and Customer Service. Operations Executives are key team members, who make sure that through meticulous onboarding and ongoing maintenance of the apartments, our dear guests are up for a very smooth, pleasant and memorable stay.
This role is ideal for a person that wants to be a key member of a growing team, have a very direct impact on how its success story is written and is eager to learn new ways of doing hospitality business.
Job profile:
- Assure properties are 100% guest ready
- Run a pre-emptive maintenance calendar and checks (e.g. AC, pest control, carpets and sofas, smart lock batteries)
- Be the first point of contact in case of apartment’s malfunction
- Coordinate suppliers and external stakeholders
- Oversee, assist or run regular maintenance work and emergency interventions
- Report and submit claims in case of any apartment damage
- Support new units onboarding (e.g. technology set-up, procurement, photo shoot preparation)
- Procure items during onboarding (e.g. furniture)
- Run thorough checklists and sign-off on apartments renovation and readiness handover protocols
- Procure and manage stock related to ongoing operations (e.g. coffee, tissues)
- Manage company mini-warehouse
- Assist in stakeholders visits to the apartments (e.g. owners, real estate agents, maintenance, suppliers)
- Occasionally, assist guests in person, meet and greet VIP guests, collect cash, etc.
- Occasionally, roll up sleeves and secure apartment’s timely availability
- Create tools and systems supporting work efficiency (e.g. manuals, checklists, workflows)
- Manage apartment information and upload to relevant folders
- Support other functions to accelerate business growth
- 6 days working week with rare possibility for early morning/ late evening, as needed
- Permanent presence in Dubai
- 65% on-site time (e.g. renovated/onboarded properties, live properties, suppliers, government entities) and ~35% remote from own home

- Working experience with holiday homes / hospitality software and platforms (e.g. Guesty, Smoobu, Avantio)
- Working experience with back-end operations of holiday homes / real estate portals (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com, Property Finder, Bayut)
- Woking experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, Breezeway)
- Interest in DIY, handyman’s work and smart home technology
- Own mean of transportation
- Own visa
- Immediate availability to join
- Command of language other than English that is wildly spoken in the UAE
