Your Role
We’re looking for an organized and motivated intern to assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations while helping ensure smooth program execution. Internships typically run three to six months, with many of our past interns having transitioned into full-time roles within the company, supported by EF’s commitment to training and professional development for all employees.
REQUIREMENTS
- Your internship must be part of your university course
- You must be eligible to work in Ireland at commencement of employment without EF sponsorship
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Motivated, energetic, and positive
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Flexible with working hours
- Strong communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- All posts are subject to a Garda Vetting check (or local police check if you do not live in Ireland) and character referencing

Responsibilities:
- General administrative & reception duties
- Gathering travel information for arriving and departing students to book their airport transfers
- Provide pre-departure accommodation information to EF sales offices worldwide
- Assist with the induction of new students on arrival
- Dealing with student queries regarding accommodation and acting as a liaison between students and homestay providers
- Informing host families about the student’s arrival times and notifying them of any last-minute changes
- Analysing students’ evaluations at the start, halfway point and end of their stay and responding to/finding solutions for negative comments and experiences
- Being a contact person for host families, students (before, during and after their stay with the organisation) and other customers concerning any questions, providing information and more
- Checking the presence status of minor students, followed by contacting absent minor students and trying to reach their emergency contact and/or homestay provider and finally reporting them as missing to the local Garda in case the student could not be reached
- Sending warning letters for students with low attendance and inviting them to disciplinary meetings with the Director of Studies and School Director
- Making Visa appointments with the Garda National Immigration Bureau for Visa students
- Residence Advisor duties – checking minors students for the curfew
