Description:

Purpose: Reporting to the Location Manager, Operations Lead personnel are responsible for the overall coordination of the location inventory and customer experience as it relates to product movement at the location.

EDUCATION AND SKILLSET

  • Minimum Grade 12 or GED equivalent
  • OSHA Training/experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Great customer services skills with the ability to create and maintain relationships with peers and customers.
  • Proficient with computers and technology.
  • Detail orientated with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective time management, planning and multi-tasking skills.
  • Dependable, reliable, and safety conscious.
  • Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
  • Class 1A driver license required
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

Customer Service 

  • Provide excellent customer service to help build and maintain Customers for Life relationship by responding to all customer inquiries, transfer the customer to the appropriate members of the SynergyAG team when necessary. 
  • Ensure timely customer service, assisting with the coordination and delivery to customer farms, when required.
  • Process customer orders by reviewing paperwork for accuracy prior to picking orders for product shipment.

Operations

  • Assist with inventory reconciliation by compiling and maintaining the inventory records database, documenting inventory movement through the location, in a timely manner. 
  • Exercise caution when loading and delivering inventory to avoid damaged assets, inventory loss and/or spills.
  • Confirm accuracy of orders prior to shipment by working with a team member to conduct a confirmation count.
  • When receiving deliveries, review BOL to ensure product is for SynergyAG, safely unload trucks ensuring products match BOL with accurate product quantities, supply copy of BOL to the office and file a copy in the warehouse.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts, reporting any inventory discrepancies to Location Manager and assisting in correcting inventory outages.
  • If applicable, loads and unloads fertilizer shipments, ensuring proper products and quantities match BOL, operate fertilizer blending system and alert Location Manager on product supply, shortages, and available storage space.
  • If applicable, assists with the scheduling, operation and cleans out of the seed treater/coater to facilitate a high level of efficiency and success in operation.
  • Adheres to SynergyAG safety procedures, participates in location monthly safety meetings, and reports any safety concerns to Location Manager.
  • Ensures all rolling stock (trucks, forklift, bobcats, trailers etc.) are regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained with proper maintenance records.
  • Maintain buildings, yard, and fixtures in a clean, organized, and professional manner to portray a positive image internally and externally.
  • Orders necessary yard and shed supplies, as approved by Location Manager.
  • Complies with AWSA warehousing standards, prepares for, and participates in, AWSA audits, as requested.
  • Participate in planning day to day job duties for seasonal yard staff, ensuring internal operational and safety policies are met.
  • Identifies and communicates any location infrastructure or maintenance requirements to Location Manager.
