Description:

This is a critical and pivotal role in the development of our company and is one that requires operational knowledge, experience, commitment to our purpose, and loyalty, amongst other attributes. This role will report directly to our Central Canada Operations Manager and will work closely with our leadership and management teams in ensuring operational efficiency in our Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton), Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Regina), and Manitoba (Winnipeg) regions.

As an Operations Liaison Manager, your duties and responsibilities shall primarily consist of:

  • Ensuring Company policies are followed;
  • Authorizing overtime, time off or leaves of absence;
  • Calling employees in to work and directing work schedules;
  • Altering work processes;
  • Establishing or altering work schedules;
  • Training employees;
  • Committing or authorizing the use of company resources; and
  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time consistent with your abilities and qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the Security Industry is required.
  • Background in Security Operations is required.
  • Prior experience leading large teams is required.
  • Prior experience as a Regional / District manager is required or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience managing diverse teams is required.
  • Post Secondary Education is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse teams.
  • Experience with change management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with TrackTik is a huge asset.
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations.
  • Tech- savviness is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

JOB DUTIES

  • Travel to different locations across Canada to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Assist managers and supervisors in their operational objectives.
  • Train new managers on standard security processes and operations.
  • Participate in recruitment processes to hire new staff and assist with training new staff.
  • Develop client relationships and client relations management.
  • Work collaboratively with the Central Canada-Operations Manager, support, and lead various teams, including management teams.
  • Assisting the Executive Leadership team with day-to-day operations in all of our regions across Canada.
  • Work within and focus on maximizing our TrackTik software.
  • Create SOPs.
  • Create and modify all company Standing Post Orders (instructions for each site we provide services to).
  • Complete regular reports, such as client reports, incident reports, KPIs, cost-analysis, and more.
  • Support teams within assigned regions and travel as required.
  • Ad hoc projects and initiatives as required to ensure operational efficiency.
