The location Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Operations Maintenance Coordinator. This job is permanent full time.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Operations Maintenance Coordinator works as part of the team to assist in planning maintenance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all safe work practices and procedures.
- Manages the area maintenance budget in consultation with the Production Manager and Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
- Defines the “global” priorities in the area in collaboration with the Production Manager and Production Resource Leader.
- Facilitates, attends and represents Operations in the weekly and daily scheduling meetings to review new notifications, set initial priorities, assure proper coding, define daily schedule, etc.
- Defines the weekly maintenance schedule with input from the Maintenance Supervisors and Planners.
- Coordinates Maintenance priorities with all Production interests in their areas.
- Coordinates Production equipment availability as well as communicates with the Production Resource Leader to ensure the equipment is locked out, cleaned, and ready for Maintenance.
- Develops and maintains Operations workorders and Maintenance plans in SAP.
- Assists the Production Resource Leader to identify goals and objectives for Shutdown days.
- Attends and facilitates all Shutdown day planning meetings.
- With assistance from the Production Resource Leader, produces an Operations timeline in conjunction with that received from Maintenance. Distributes to the Planners, and others.
- Coordinates with the Production Resource Leader to assign work from the Operations shutdown day schedule to appropriate Operators.
- Attends and facilitates the Shutdown day post mortem meetings.
- Works with the Maintenance Assistant to review the Shutdown day statistics compiled in the Shutdown day post mortem report and acts accordingly.
- Leads and coordinates the Operator Basic Care Program.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
- Organizational skills— attention to detail, flexible, and able to multi-task.
- Critical thinking, self-motivated, able to troubleshoot.
- Moderate level of computer skills.
- Overall Main Mill operational experience and Control Room training would be considered an asset.
- CRO training would be considered an asset.
