WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years duty management experience in the hospitality/ hotel sector, with the drive to step up in responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate the team effectively.
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding guest service with a passion for creating exceptional hospitality experiences.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and effectively prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with hotel software is an advantage, training on our systems will be provided.
  • Ambition and enthusiasm for growth, both personally and for the hotel.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE…

We are looking for a highly motivated, engaging and professional indivdual for a dual role covering Assistant to the General Manager (Operations Manager) and Food & Beverage Manager.
As Operations Manager you will work closely with the General Manager and assist in controlling revenue and working to budget guidelines. You will help manage staff, oversee guest services, and ensure smooth operation across departments while maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
As Food & Beverage Manager you will lead the team in the day to day running of the restaurant & bar operation. You will be an experienced manager with excellent food and beverage knowledge and be able to use this knowledge to train and develop the team.
A proven track record gained from a high quality led hotel, restaurant or bar operation is essential together with a passion for service excellence with a drive and determination to take the business to another level is essential. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership capabilities, ambition, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Ensure efficient daily running of the Food & Beverage department
  • Supervise and support the hotel team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the management team to maintain and improve hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle guest services, including check-in/check-out processes, resolving guest issues, and maintaining satisfaction.
  • Manage event and function operations, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
  • Oversee administrative duties, such as stock control, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to ensure a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Help implement new services and improvements as we further expand our offering.
