OPERATIONS MANAGER | £45,000-£48,000PER ANNUM + BONUS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join our iconic business and be part of an exciting journey.
We are looking for an Individual who will be the face of the service so being someone who can develop strong and professional working relationships with individuals.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE OPERATIONS MANAGER:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Operations Manager role in a QSR Hospitality business
- Be a visionary driven by the idea of bringing new and innovative ideas to the table
- Have your finger on the pulse knowing what the emerging trends are
- Ability to lead from the front, coach and develop the ever-growing teams
- Effective communications at all levels
- Approachable and customer service focused
- Able to work under pressure
- PC literate
- Previous people management experience
- Flexible in approach as may be required to work unsociable hours on some occasions
- A versatile style that allows you to adapt to the daily challenges that you will face in a fast past region
- Proven track record of improving financial performances of multi sites within previous roles

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, you may be expected to work some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Company Director to set the Operations strategy for the business
- Ensure the smooth running of Archies, where all aspects of the stores experience are delivered to the highest levels, ensuring both Front of House and Back of House standards are attained and adhered.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key partners both internal and external ensuring all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
- Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practise activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
- Responsible for ensuring that the appropriate audit levels are met
- Development of the management team
- Managing budgets and forecast
- Liaising with suppliers or contractors
- Monitoring and driving productivity on all sites
- People management and supervision of diverse teams
- Completion of any required paperwork and administration including regular reports
- Travelling around the country is required so flexibility is a must
- Opening of new stores which might imply to stay over away from home for few days, weeks
- Deliver daily KPI’s.
- Have an attention for detail and ensure all work is carried out to the expected standard
- Maintain and manage health & safety standards, food safety and risk assessment
- Take all necessary steps to ensure security of the store
- To attend to and take all necessary action statuary band otherwise in the event of an accident, fire, burglary, theft and loss of property
- To attend meetings and training courses required
- To appraise, control and discipline Management according to the needs of establishment, within the procedure laid down by the company and Government Legislations.
- To review with the Operations Director the financial and operational performance of the units
- To attend to any other reasonable task as requested by your operations Director
- Regular sites visit and taking control of new site openings
- Approving rotas
- Plan and review rota cost and ensuring all staffing levels are at the appropriate levels to drive a smooth-running business
- Controlling labour usage and checking rotas daily
- Control stock according to budgets
