Responsibilities:
Operations Manager, Lifeguard has a diverse group of responsibilities that include overall park operational safety, guest and colleague satisfaction and safety, park upkeep and cleanliness, as well as the overall aquatics operation for the resorts’ pools and beaches. This position is also responsible for the development and performance of a very large and diverse team of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, Lifeguards, Communications Centre, and Guest Service Colleagues.
Person in this role reports to the Director of Aquaventure Operations and is mainly responsibile for:
- Ensuring that Aquaventure facilities are maintained at the highest level of quality
- Monitoring and anticipating service needs to ensure 5* experience to the waterpark guests
- Developing and maintaining open and professional lines of communication with all departments that interact with the Aquaventure
- Assisting with the management of the daily operation of the Aquaventure Guest Services Huts, Aquaventure Cabanas, Guest Buggies and Recreational Leisure activities
- Carrying out daily inspections of the waterpark, pools and beaches prior to colleagues and guest use
- Recruiting and developing professional and dedicated junior management and lifeguards team
- Assisting with the annual operating budget by means of inventory control, procuring and ordering the required goods and services
- Assisting with the overall payroll contribution to the bottom line by means of efficient scheduling practices.
