Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage operation through proper forecasts and standardized operational processes which promote efficiencies and cost saving measures in all areas of the business;
- Drive standardized processes through coaching, monitoring, development and ensure colleague compliance;
- Promote, demote, discipline and terminate if necessary;
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of the team and proactively deal with issues as they arise and support consistency through all shifts;
- Review inbound/outbound volumes in department and develop caps which support the outbound activity.
- Evaluate performance of Senior Supervisors or Supervisors and provide necessary feedback and coaching to achieve targets.
- Encourage a safe and positive work culture that engages colleagues;
- Foster productive union relations; Ensure adherence to Collective Agreement and manage grievance resolution process
- Ensure customers receive outstanding customer service in terms of service level, and on time deliveries,
- Work with the General Manager in the development and control of the annual operating budget
- Other duties as assigned
